Writing Day: Projects, workshops, discussions, and more

In addition to our usual Writing Day projects, we’ve added some new Writing Day sessions designed to create more ways for you to grow your career opportunities. Whether you want to build technical skills, get feedback on your resume, or join a facilitated discussion, these shorter-format sessions offer something for everyone. You can choose any combination of:

  • Writing Day projects (half-day or full-day)

    • You can lead a project or join and contribute to a project

  • New to Git and GitHub workshops

  • Resume writing sessions or portfolio reviews

  • Pre-scheduled, roundtable discussions

Want more information? Look no further than the Writing Day page.

Project submissions are open

Got an idea for a Writing Day project? Submit it by April 22, 2026 so we can share it in a blog post and email with our attendees before the conference! And you’re always more than welcome to bring a project the day of and announce it during the actual Writing Day.

We look forward to seeing you in May!
